The Red Ribbon Week was organized by the Drug Outreach Group Support (DOGS) group. The Red Ribbon Week (October 29-November 3) promoting a drug-free campus at NTJCC, ended with a center-wide fair that featured barbeque, drug-free educational exhibits and plenty of physical activities, including an obstacle course, human foosball, pedestal jousting, a mechanical bull ride, and a climbing wall.
The Red Ribbon Drug Awareness Week included educational displays about the effects of drugs and information promoting the benefits of being drug free. |

The week-long event, organized and sponsored by the Drug Outreach Group Support (DOGS) group and the Trainee Employee Assistance Program (TEAP), was designed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and the benefits of living drug free and to promote a drug-free school and workplace.
As part of the week's events, DOGS sponsored a poster/essay contest, with winners receiving cash prizes.

The week's finale included plenty of physical challenges and fun actvities, including a climbing wall. |
The mechanical bull ride was a popular activity during the campus-wide fair that was the wrap-up event to the Red Ribbon Week. |
